Concrete Pitching
This design was a class project for the cognitive studio. We were looking at Kolb's Matrix of learning styles which deal with the processing and perceiving continuums. Here I was trying to teach how to pitch a fastball to a concrete-active learner type. I tried to accomplish this through the use of video and an interactive timeline that visualizes discrete moments in time that would otherwise be invisible to the student. The application tracks and visualizes the pitchers motion as it occurs in time.
