Pincher Typeface
I designed the Pincher Typeface as a display face in Illustrator and then cut wooden printing blocks for the letterpress using a laser cutter. The Pincher Typeface was originally designed as a project to to demonstrate relationships between the digital (illustrator & laser cutter) and the hand craft (letterpress). The originals were designed for a poster presented at the NCSU Design Symposium roundtable discussion "The Relationship between the Digital and the Handcraft." Pincher, Intertwined, and Intertwined Across Media are all typefaces I designed for this roundtable discussion.
